Kids Can Cook at the Library

If you’re looking for activities for the kids, especially during summer break, check out what the library has to offer.

The Burlington County Library here in Evesham Township holds events for kids, teens, and adults. Marlton TV attended one of the events at the library this week called Kids Can Cook. The event was hosted by Miss Holly and Miss Jenica, a Registered Dietician from the Shop Rite of Marlton. They taught kids how to make a healthy summer pasta salad. Miss Jenica helped kids to cut up the vegetables, mix it all together, and discuss the importance of eating healthy food. After cooking, they kids tried the pasta salad then were treated to games and crafts.

The Burlington County Library in Evesham Township regularly holds free events for kids, and many of the events require registration in advance. Check out the MarltonTV Calendar for more events or visit www.bcls.lib.nj.us/events/calendar.
